Fundamentals is a entry level class.  For those with no experience, or limited professional training, this is just the ticket.  Have a new gun, or never learned how to work yours, then this is for you.  You will learn the fundamentals of marksmanship (grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger pull and follow through)  we will progress towards self defense type shooting at the end of the 4 hours.  You will learn to load and unload, as well as empty gun reloads under time.  With the completion of this class you can progress to the Defensive Pistol class.  

REQUIREMENTS: semi auto handgun, total of 2 magazines, 200 rounds of factory ammunition (no reloads)

DEFENSIVE PISTOL 6hr: Cost:$600 (includes tuition for up to 2 students), this includes the $45 range fee. Each additional student beyond 2 is $250 each

This 6 hr course teaches students gun-handling skills and techniques designed to dramatically increase your ability to get shots on target quickly, while maintaining accuracy. Students will build on their skills learned in fundamentals, to include multiple target engagement, speed reloads, malfunction clearance techniques, and presentation from the holster.  You will progress to timed presentation on target from a holster getting two solid hits in around 2 seconds

The goal of this course is to instill in each student the basic knowledge and skill essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for personal protection.

Students will be issued a “Certificate of Completion” at the conclusion of this course.

REQUIREMENTS: semi-automatic pistol, strong-side holster (no trigger finger retention release), total of 3 magazines, magazine holder, eye & ear protection and  350 rounds of factory practice ammunition is required for this course. 

Pre-requisite for Defensive Pistol is Fundamentals or equivalent if approved by the instructor
